in what way are you "doing horribly" ?

I am using two of Amazon's 600w light setups ... got them in August for $179 each ... one of the ballasts died after 2 1/2 weeks, kind of a drag ... they replaced it pretty quickly, took about 8 days to get it back on line ... the tubes are pretty sucky so far as deflectors go but otherwise it...

ahh so, hmmm, I have been using Cal-Magfrom the beginning, three weeks ago. Is there a particular PH req for Cal absorbtion ? Perhaps an alternate means of adding calcium ?
