well if you want 5 foot plants from seed or clone you will want to space them about 6 feet apart so for 50 you will need about 2100 square feet of growing space and 50 lights to cover that space.
Cheers
Absolutely you can keep a clone mother in hydro. As a matter of fact, I think you should join the Special Olympics if its not in hydro. Personally I prefer to perpetually grow and don't keep mothers, just a waste of space I think. Anyways, when you hydro a mother you will end up with more shoots...
Recently I decided I would settle the dispute between hydro and soil, and what produces the best bud, at least for me. Argue the natural or organic constructs of why soil is better, or the control you get with hydro all you want.
The better grow is definitely hydro. Why? In a side by side test...
Im guessing since you are in a hydro setup you are referring to a gunk that has formed around your roots. If this is the case here is the cure.
1: make sure your water is never warmer than 57 F (not freezing either though. 55 is ideal)
2: pH should be in the range of 5.6-6.4
3: You should use...
They look good man. Just a word of advice though. All that lower trim you have at the bottom of the plant is wasted potential. Remember two things.
1: If the light doesn't penetrate, than its never going to turn to nugs.
2: Anything that you remove from budding is essentially added to top...
Ive always gone with if they show resistance than leave them on, no matter how yellow, but if a little more than a shake breaks them down, its like giving a 100 year old man a little shove down some stairs. They're ready to go, they just need some guidance.
I think the overwhelming problem with this experiment is that they expected results by putting buckets in the dark. Plants will not grow without light. Right? So after an initial setup in creating proper humidity and sprouting conditions you would have to rotate the soil and give it light. The...
Your lights sound good for a first grow. I do recommend going brighter as you get better. No point in spending too much right away because you will have a lot of tweaking as you experience growing for the first couple rounds. But lights are like tits, some people say they like little ones, but...
I flush before harvest. Flushing isn't necessary unless you are experiencing plant problems. You're changing the res every week anyway so why strip the plant from nutrients until you are gonna harvest. Your not gonna feed your kids Monday through Saturday and tell them to go hungry Sunday.
