The Big Buddha stuff is great, slightly better than the Barney's Farm stuff... It's very, very close to the original Cheese, as it has been back-bred for several generations - it is about 98% original Cheese genetics...
It has quite greeney orangey buds, the blue part in the name just comes from the lineage of Blueberry crossed with Cheese (which is a Skunk hybrid) - the scent and taste is literally quite cheesey IMHO, it has a strong but pleasant Indica smell, and a seriously stoney high - a personal favourite...
Yes, but with such a small population sample you are tempting fate... If you bought 50 then you could expect almost exactly 50%, but with 2 it would be quite likely you get 2 males...
I would replace White Russian with Blue Cheese (fem) - but that's only because I like a mixture... They're all nice strains. Be wary, you probably wont get many females from the non-feminized seeds, so you wont get anything from some of those strains if buying only 2 seeds.
Just a piece of advice for those who are having trouble germinating - I have found that cracking the seed a little using a scalpel has allowed seeds that refused to germinate to successfully do so...
Judging by the very differing germ rates and times for each strain I have germed I would suggest not... In all likelihood they are F2 and so a little unstable. Some don't like this, but I enjoy a bit of phenotype variation.
I will when I get my perpetual up and running, but right now these are going to go in to veg for 6 weeks so I can pick a good set of mothers... I'm using the White Widow and Himalayan Gold from CS for my perpetual, so I'll keep that updated once I get going. bongsmilie
Just an update on my seeds - the two Jack Herer and the White Rhino that I have chucked in compost have sprouted and are looking very healthy. They have a thick and hairy stem that is very strong even after just 2 days above ground...
Germ rate with Jack so far is 80% - just got one of the five I put in still waiting...
The LR is/was growing well, and should be a nice quick grow if I don't get any more invasions...
I don't agree with this guy at all. So far I have received labeled, well protected, viable and the correct number of seeds I have ordered. You need to wait a good week (7 days) before you claim a seed not viable, and you also need to keep them warm and moist in the darkness - but with a little...
