I agree with the amrcngror. I germ my seeds by putting them straight into the soil, watering, and putting them out in the sun. I think it would be better as opposed to an incandescent bulb, even if its closer to fall.
Hey tftx, Some of your pictures don't shop up because your photobucket album is private. It might be easier just to upload pictures through RollItUp instead of going through photobucket and then adding them on here, cut out the middle man. From what I see so far it seems like you are doing a...
Something red huh? Doesn't sound too good but don't give up on it just yet. May I ask how you are germinating that particular seed? As for the one in soil just drop your lights down close to the soil as foolet said 1-3 inches. Mine popped in 3 days so just be patient. Keep the soil moist and...
So have you also grown easy ryder? I didn't think I was that crazy? I was just taking into consideration that he has two 42 watt bulbs which I thought might put off a decent ammount of heat especially for his seedlings. Again, this is just my experience with this strain. I saw that mine were...
Well if you are growing Easy Ryders some advice I can give you is that I found that they are sensitive to heat and being too close to the light. Typically people say to keep cfls 2-4 inches away but with Easy Ryders I would stay closer to the 4 inch range. Another thing I can tell you is to...
With my Easy Ryders I would thuroughly mist the top of the soil twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). Although I just popped mine in the soil, watered and just stuck them out in the sun. But in your case I would keep the lights 3 or 4 inches away from the top of the soil. Heat is...
I'm not sure what your setup includes but I'm growing with cfls and I found them to be sensitive to heat. I follwed the rule to keep CFLs close but I could see it was affecting my easy ryders so I moved them up about 4 inches away. I'll see if I can get a pic for you...
I'm 4 weeks and 2 days in. Mine started to flower a week ago and are now starting to bulk up a bit. I transplanted in the middle of week two and have been lst-ing up until 3 days ago. If I were to do it again I'm not sure if I would lst, I would probably just let her grow out
I don't see it being a problem either. I've done it before with no ill results. I figure that plants in nature have to deal with the moon so a quick flashlight check couldn't hurt.
I'm looking for some opinions...If I have another plant that is a non-auto in with my 3 week old easy-ryder, would it cause any stunting or harm to the easyryder if the lights were switched to 12/12 to start flowering the other plant (they are on 18/6 now)?
I saw this thread and have read through about thirty pages so far. A lot of good info here. Thought I would contribute with a few pictures of my Easyryder. In these pics shes exactly three weeks old and just starting to flower. This is also my first grow and I'm still learning a lot!
