Got a ductless in my flower room, this is for my veg, and i can't afford another mini split right now. Basically I was planning on coming out the portable with a 90 through the floor then another 90, then all straight after that.
Just rented some ac gauges to install my mini split and there the wrong type (134. and 12), mine is r410a. Is it still possible to use them and figure out what the difference between 410 and 134 would be. Say if i need 76cmhg(410) I could equate what that would be in r22 and just use that number...
It's 24000 btu, I was gonna go with 10-2 to outside, and 16-3 to the inside from outside. Do I need a disconnect to the outdoor unit, or is that just to pass code?
Get ready to install my first mini split, and the instructions seem to way over complicate the issue. Do I just run 220 to the outdoor unit, and 4 wire 14 gauge to the indoor unit?
Thanks for your previous advice. Now I'm getting ready to install my first mini split. It's a senville 24000 btu. Is it just 10 ga, 2 wire from sub panel to outdoor unit, and then 3 wire 14 ga to indoor unit?
Kemp, was it just 2 wire 10gauge to outdoor unit, then 3 wire to indoor? Did you do the bleeding yourself? I found a rental vacuum pump, but no gauges.
Csu, Ya I got it Gettin ready to run wiring this weekend. It didn't come with wiring harness, called about it, and they said to just use 14-16 gauge wire.
