yeah, I'd have to agree that ANY HID won't work unless you cut out the top of the box and use a sheet of glass so most of the heat stays out. You need 6-12" for the light and another 6-12" to keep from getting the crispies....also with that strain...you're probably going to want to go straight...

I know a guy that does something similar.....except using ethyl alcohol and a strainer.....and ending up with hash oil instead of hash.... Being a smoker and a stoner, I don't want flammable vapors floating around....so I'll offer an alternative for us cowards....lol It's definitely more...

I do the same as M4A1..although.....some fan leaves will have trichs on them....easy to see in the light... 1st trim is to the point the trichs end(about 1-2" off the bud)....2nd trim is tight to the bud. I do both trims as soon as I cut the plant....but there is another school of thought...
