Good job on your first grow, how'd the girls finish up? I liked Blue Himalaya alot, but personally if I'm growing short stuff strains it's all about the Russian Rocket Fuel. Give it a shot some time. Good to see the Afghan Kush Ryder seems fairly stable, I'll order a pack here soon.

I'm about to start a grow with a different autoflowering strain, and I'm planning on 100-150 watts per plant, and I'll add more if I need too. If you're using CFLs, they range in size and lumen output. Again you can search on the forums here for anything and everything you need to grow...

I have a 70 watt HPS ballast set up, but I also have a 150 watt HPS bulb. Can I switch the bulbs? Thanks!

I don't know for sure whether it helps or hurts, but I started by germinating 12 seeds (they all sprouted tap roots). I put them in cups and put them under light, and 11 of the 12 popped above the soil. Two did it the first day, but one took about a week. There isn't any exact schedule

If you left a pot of water out, it would be crawling with bacteria in less than a week. And plants need more than just water. So no.

I made one of these about a week ago, works pretty well, but takes a little while to get going. I didn't use an intake straw though, just cut the second hole in the cap and put one straw in to inhale through. The air comes through the second hole to keep air circulating without it. Happy...
