plumber's putty works great for holding a stem or bowl in place, its reusable, its never melted whenever I've used it, and its kinda fun to play with whenever you're fucked up as all hell. Make little putty people, and laugh at their flaccidity cause there isn't a putty drug store! Juicy apples...
