    Unconventional Organics

Fungus creature...I hope so :) I'm wondering what peeps think would be good to use and for what? These are easy to get and cheap enough, but which one(s) and how? Also picked up Xylitol (birch sugar alcohol), amber coconut palm nectar, nutritional yeast, brewers yeast & kelp powder...all...

    Unconventional Organics

Unconventional organics...I'm in the middle of building some indoor compost (as it is frozen and snowy outside). The household veggie & fruit peels have gone in, as well as some canna leaves, peat moss, blood & bone meals, alfalfa pellets, oyster shells ground and probably a bit more stuff. I...

Thats amazing! I didn't know you feed this to worms. Most of those ingredients are in or will be in my compost. Added milk to rice serum tonight. Intend to just use the EM1 on the compost & mix it in. Don't really want to pickle it, just help it break down fast. I'm also using powdered oyster...

Islands... California... I'm in the arctic! So jealous!!! And can't read fast enough! Worms... Would I ever see them? I think so. I'll just concentrate on compost for now. Just don't think I can do it... Maybe when my boys are old enough to help. Lol. That's a new Saturday chore: worm bin stuff.

Soil Food Web Gardening with Compost Teas

I agree the best is your own. I have a compost started, but it will be a while. Worms...I can't do it. They are fine outside in the garden where I only see them when I'm digging around. Just can't get over the ick...bit of a phobia about slithery things & other creepers. I don't have any help...

what is the most efficient way to medicate?

I now have a Plenty. It's made by the same people who make the Volcano. Adjustable temperature, very easy to use, & electric. Can use concentrate or ground weed. I still like the Iolite for travel, but this Plenty takes the cake.

Soil Food Web Gardening with Compost Teas

This is one of those really not so funny things...I found out the compost I was using is not compost...it is organic potting soil! Not sure what is in it. I must have been having a bad day when I picked that up. Anyway, went looking for compost, as mine isn't ready to use. Wrong time of year to...

Hi everyone. This is a very cool thread. Just started an ACT with EWC/alfalfa meal, sea weed, nettle, comfrey & horsetail. All in a paint strainer bag. Forgot to put oyster shell flour in the bag so some was just added to the bucket along with molasses. It will all bubble away for about 18...

    Living Organics *Ofiicial Thread*

Just wanted to say hi. I"m an organic "living soil" grower. Still working to get the soil improved, but aerated manure tea & fermented plant extracts put in what I don't. Just started an indoor compost bin and am now loving the winter, as its summer in my indoor garden. Also have my first...

    Compassion club prices

Touch a nerve? Nothing compassionate about the club. It's a business like any other. So the name is an oxymoron.

    Compassion club prices

Best phrase to describe these places that I've heard is "comecashin" club. That's exactly what they are.
