saw your post asking about ballasts & lamp. htgsupply.com has good prices on all their products. Ballasts don't tend to make noise (electronic or digital ballasts anyway), but they may heat up a bit depending on the wattage. Your fan (get a good one- ie. can fan, and the like) and your reservoir (hydro) aerator will cause the most noise. there are schematics out there about building an insulated box for your fan if you're concerned about noise. I don't know much about putting an a/c unit in a grow room, but that will by far make more noise than any of the other items. give me a shout if you have more questions. goood luck!
