It could be a sativa type which they grow taller then an indica which grows bushier, but you definitely want to get the lights closer to the smaller plants you want them within like 5-6 inches depending on the heat. If the lights don't get to hot then you could put them 2-3 inches away.

How far away do you have your lights from the actual plants?
