The 1000w was about 18inches above them but 4 days ago during the res change we upped it another 6 inches. What temp should my room be at? My ballast allows me to do 500w, 750w, and 1000w so I can bring the temp down if thats the problem. Thanks for the advice!

Before adding nutes you want to use the lowest PPM possible. It's healthier for the plant, plus your PPM won't vary as much when you add nutes. That way you know what your looking at everytime. If that makes sense.

I don't know about the whole no stag water. I know a lot of people who believe that the culture that grows in that helps. As long as you monitor your PPM and PH and nute burn I do my change every 2 weeks.

Am I the only one who feel's the need to buy a zero water filter so that I start with 0 PPM everytime? This seems like an odd problem a lot of people have.
