  • I'm telling you, brother. Hit that guy up. He rocks. He'll +rep you too if you're sincere and not an asshole. The more +rep, the more helpful these guys get.
Nutes? Moebius! If you post a question on his World of Hempy, even about DWC, he answers you. He has years of experience.
It's 4 ML/Liter (a little over 1 quart) of both the Grow and the Bloom solutions. I ame 5 gallons in another bucket, fill to my net basket height I want and save the rest (covered) to add. You have to be careful as the water precipitates or is respired by the plant while the salts stay and become more concentrated. Here's your frequent meter checks! Buy them first I swear to God. Fuck those drop test kits with color change. I use one but JUST to be sure I'm close before using the meter (tips wear, have to stay wet in saline solutions). After that prelim check (which I'm sure I'll ditch with experience) it's meters ONLY!
I am no hydro expert and rely on Moebius and others to aid me. The Shooting Powder is from Holland and one sachet of it is about $15 and makes 25 US gallons of Shooting Formula. So I use a gram scale and weigh out 2.3 grams per gallon of water. The same gallon of water I add 16 ML each of Sensi Bloom A & B and 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Beastie Bloomz. Those are per/gallon ratios depending on your reservoir size. My 5 gallon toy uses 80 ML each of the SB + 2 -1/2 tsp Beastie Bloomz in 5-gallons of solution. The second adjustment/feed adjustment is when I add the Shooting Powder. I am learning on the fly. I found in my case Ihad to make 2 major adjustments during bloom and minor ones in between for pH, EC etc. I am using plain tap water on the advice of others. Left out 24 hours to dissipate Chlorine.
I use the Sensi Grow A&B for veg and Sensi Bloom A&B for flowering. I also add 1/4 tsp Beastie Bloomz each feeding during flower. Also, 2 weeks after your buds start, I add 2.3 grams/gallon H2O of Shooting Powder. This sets of a second "burst" of flowering after the plants normal flowering has stopped to focus on bulking the buds it already has. pH Up and pH Down kit plus the meters (MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL) and the rest you know about. Or will soon 8)
I use Advanced Nutrients almost exclusively. The pH "perfect" solutions are not of course but are so darned close that adjustment is easy. Buy your meters first! TDS/EC and a pH. The pH is the most expensive - about $55. Milwaukee seems to be reliable and both of mine are Milwaukee. Avoid Hydroponics Market on Amazon. SLOW ship. Did you go to Moebius' World of Hempy here on RIU?

If not here's the link. Moebius rocks and answers all. HE is a REAL expert.
