Awesome grow! I considered doing this, growing in cans SOG style, a few years ago. I liked the thought of always having something to harvest, rather then waiting to harvest every 8 weeks.
Rain is only a problem when the excess runoff water has no where to go and causes root rot or when rain water sits on the leaves and buds and causes mold. My plants are directly in the ground and the soil its in retains all the water it can and lets the rest go deeper in the ground for plants...
some i topped, lst'd, and even supper cropped a little, they are about 3 feet tall. the 6ft plus ones are either topped once or not at all.
i only used two 23watt cfls for about the first three weeks on 8 of the original plants, and used one 23 watt cfl to clone with.
i've heard that before and forgot about it. our rainy season is just starting to begin tho. i wish some one reminded me of this tip when it actually was needed. i might still do it tho
My bad bro I'm from the US. We use the word shit as slang in place of almost any subjective word. Anyway yah my dad (singular) is from punjab and it grows in his village everywhere. They have to spray the plants with herbicide and it still grows back on their farmlands.
wow! my dads from punjab. I know first hand how that shit grows everywhere, so this will be exciting to see how they do it in the motherland.
how do you prevent the rogue male pollen from other patches from getting to your girls? assuming there are wild patches around you
