Environmental Controllers w/Co2 setup WHAT ARE YOU RUNNING

Well after more research the all in one sentinel wins me over i think ill get a CHHC-4 or atleast the CHHC-1 in combo with a CAP air MLC4XT light controller and that should do the trick nicely. I figure the Light MLC4XT will cost around $120 and the CHHC-4 will be another 500=600$ but I think...

Environmental Controllers w/Co2 setup WHAT ARE YOU RUNNING

Ya I saw those Hydro Inovations Co2 Meter really cheap and simple considering its preset 1300-1500 but that would work perfect prolly. Ympb what do you use to run your lights? just 120v into power strips with timers? or do you have a CAP light control box or something O.o ?

1000w digital ballast burning out bulbs

Ya stay away from lumatek. I have a friend that works at a large hydroponic supplier and he had to package up PALLETS of lumatek ballast for return. They have some serious issues and I believe have even had recalls aswell. GO PHANTOM!

Environmental Controllers w/Co2 setup WHAT ARE YOU RUNNING

Hello all, I've been studying about environmental controllers, timers etc and what I would need to run 4 600watt 240v lamps, a Co2 Tank setup. I have a sealed room approx 10x10x7 with separate venting systems for carbon filter and light cooling. I've looked into using C.A.P controllers...

    cooling needed or no?

I agree with Mikov take temperature reading after you build your room with the light in it and try to compensate for winter/summer a little bit. If your in a hot climate during summer time you might want some ventilation but if your running a sealed room w/ co2 you dont need it. Do you run A/C...

    normal ballast Vs digital ballast

Go digital for sure. A ballast is a ballast but digital are fairly loud its very annoying and since technology is going digital it probably would be safer considering magnetics ballast are on their way out. Both types of ballast pull the same energy but the digital are smaller quieter and...

what type of water do you use?

Atleast get a RV filter theres cheaper than a R.O. system and atleast remove the main particles and drop your ppm some. From my experience tho using a Reverse Osmosis system works the best and drops bad tap watter from like 600-700ppm to like 25-35 ppm. Reverse Osmosis systems are like 200$ tho :(

Cooling for 4 600 watt air cooled lamps

Ya I think im gonna have to run 4 x 8" cooltubes with 8" ducting and use a 8" 720 cfm fan for the lights and a 6" 400 cfm fan for the carbon filter in order to keep heat down. Might even separate the carbon filter and lighting ducting for maximum efficiency as you did :D YMPB you think that...

    What is a t-5 and a t-12?

There should be numbers printed on the bulb identifying it as a certain type. Some times the codes are weird and I have to google them though. Best of luck !

    Environmental Controllers Thoughts and Ideas

Wondering what environmental controllers will make things easier but at the same time not cost me an arm and a leg. I will be running 4 x 600w on 240v digital ballast, Fans, Light ventilations system, Co2 tank w/regulator. I need Timers/controllers that will control my 10x10 flower room. So...

Cooling for 4 600 watt air cooled lamps

was checking other threads and guess ill be getting 2 fans one for blowing air through the lights and one for sucking air through the carbon filter.

    Proper Ventilation for 2 1000watt cooltubes ??

I think im gonna have to get 2 fans .. one for blowing air threw lights and one for the carbon filter

Cooling for 4 600 watt air cooled lamps

I was thinking of running a 4x600 watt set up through air cooled hoods. For cooling I was thinking of having a 188 cfm booster fan near the intake window or perhaps just before the Y where it split into 2x600 lamps each then when it comes back together incorporate the carbon filter and the...
