hi, first real real room, 3 blueberries and 3 blackberries surrounding a 400w CMH and a 600w HPS in a vertical diy cooltube. they vegged for like ten weeks which i know is ridiculous but i just couldn't afford my hps ballast until recently. i know. also they're way taller than the blackberries...

I have a 400w ceramic metal halide with a magnetic ballast hooked up to a timer. i was changing the daylength, and i switched it off for a second, and when i switched it back on it wouldn't light up. the timer is designed for 1725w, so its not that. can a bulb or a ballast break from something...

It's a Philips Advance 400w 5-tap hps ballast kit, model 71A8453-001D, and i just do not know what to do with the capacitor. at the moment i have two loose "com" wires and two loose "cap" wires, and i have conflicting instructions from the web

whatever you get make sure it has the right wavelengths. blue: between 420nm and 490nm, red: between 610nm and 650nm, and at 670nm. i hear tell hidhut.com has good shiz. looks like it too

the aqua globe is pretty sweet.

the one clone i was trying out utterly failed to root. i read up on it and took the 3 lowest cuttings to try. we'll see how that goes
