I've wondered this myself... say if your work schedule is such that you HAD to have the plants on the new time... what would be the best method?

I'm a believer in the Top. Tried the FIM with mixed results. Topping gives the best results consistently IMHO.

It's just the natural ambient temp of my subterra garden. It has worked for me. Basically if you can give them an environment you'd be comfortable in, they're comfortable too!

This is exactly right, though I do mist my cuttings while I mist the dome and top soil as well. 48 hours full closed vents, then 1/4-1/2 open keeping humidity & temp around 70% & 70F. Hasn't failed me yet. Not once!

Only thing I'd add would be that you don't "water" clones, but rather "mist" the leaves occasionally keeping the humidity up in a dome like atmosphere as described above. I've yet to find something I couldn't root in 7-10 days using root riot plugs and a dome with a small t5 on top of it. (100%...
