Im planning on making a (eerily) similar setup. I think thats the strongest light you'd want for a space like that. Im pretty sure the fan you have in mind is over kill for the space you have. A fan w/ a rating of say 100CFM should suit your needs, around $30 on their homedepots' online store

If your using the huge cfl they have you wasted your money, im pretty sure its only putting out around 5,000 lumens. For a quick and cheap setup get two power strips and buy 6 40watt cfl's and 6 outlet adapters to put the bulbs in, 3 on each strip. They'll put out about 15,000 lumens. Hang em...

Since a 400watt HPS puts out roughly 50,000 lumens, wouldn't it be better to just use this light instead of in conjunction w/a MH which puts out about 35,000 lumens at the same wattage? Or does the spectrum factor outweigh the lumen one? Im planning on buying an HID system to replace my 240watt...
