grow out a plant in veg for about five to six weeks, let the soil dry almost all the way out. remove the plant from the container it was in and cut off the roots with a serrated knife so there is a 2inch square, transplant it into a small bonsai planter. now wait a week to let it get some new root growth, trim and tie it how you want it, wait another week and put it into flower.
