You lack to realize, that this is a portable AC. Read the whole post. I cool 4k aircooled with a 14k portable dual hose in the winter, and 2400w with the same in the summer, and its a struggle holding temps.

Gree and Freidrich are decent systems as well for about half the price. There compressors are noticeably louder though. Definitly be looking at the outside compressor sound ratings while shopping. If you have the money go for a Mitsu, you won't be disappointed.

I can cool 8k with 1 AC, although I do not run 8k per room. I run 4kw per flower room. If your only running 2.4kw I would suggest a 18k or 16k split. It's way too big for your grow, but you could possibly grow into it as well, & will run much less often.

Just remember, having a huge lung room may not be the best idea. The room SHOULD be 100% sealed, as your sucking air in & out. If you don't you will have either cooler air invading your grow space, or warm air from your compressor. I'd do something smaller maybe 6x6, or 8x8. I wouldn't go...

More than likely the manufacturer will tell you that it will not be covered under warranty, because it's installed in an environment it wasn't designed to be in.

I currently run 2x Mitsubishi 22,500k in a small sealed room, for each one of my 10x10 flower rooms, set to exhaust once the room hits 110 degrees. This has worked flawlessly the last year and a half. Year round.

I would highly suggest bypassing your Softener as your are adding more salts to your water. I would highly suggest running an RO based on your PPM readings being so high. Stealth RO Systems are good, but a bit pricey. Other RO's can be purchased for much cheaper.

Lights need to be in a closed loop as stated above. Air from outside > fan > hoods > outside.

Personally I use 1000w Galaxy Select-A-Watt.. Pretty useful when temps are running too hot.. Just dim it down to 600...
