You should take clones and reveg those if you can. When I take clones at 3 weeks the buds will extend a bit and put out weird looking single leaves. The bud site eventually produce multiple branches and you end up getting a super bushy plant which needs no topping or anything. I havent tried it...

Thanks, Im pretty happy with the results. I have some plans for my next grow which i've already started. Yeah Ive grown with CFLs and the heat wasnt usually an issue. I am pulling about 50 watts from each one.

CLONE UPDATE Here is an update on the flowering clone that I took for a monster crop attempt. It is super branchy and looks awesome, I took a few more a little while ago.

Week 8 Blue Dream Looking very frosty, lots of orange hairs Cherry Cookies Buds look small, but are super dense. Big Lemon This one isnt growing as much, i think its nutrient lockout from not letting the soil dry out as much. Still looks frosty though

Instead of using string, you can use twisty ties from the garden section they are a lot easier. Bigger holes is the best solution though
