I understand the reasons of topping. Some people think that topping creats 2 "main" colas, therefore, increased yeilds. And the reason for an "even" canopy is to increase light to lower buds, which increases yeild also. Im a firm believer that LST increases yeilds but I cant say for sure that...

Hey cole, you should do a side by side test with topping and lst'ing it. Personally i find topping is a major stress for the plant and slows growth for a few days. Whats your reasons for topping? Increased yeilds, or are you trying to control height.

Yea. I use the small party cups. Just use the mix how it is, its very airy but it has a yucca extract so it doesnt dry out to fast. Mist 2x a day and your golden. If you dont already have one, pick up a seedlingheating mat too.
