See if the nutriants u use has a cleaning product,I use house and garden nutes and they have drip clean that I use with every feed, I've had no problems yet!

hide any wires and stuff, hang some clothes on them and say they are fold away wardrobes, worked for me!

to be honest on my last grow i found the plants with the purple stems turned outto be the best.

ive been told a big enough drop in temp between your night and day cycles can bring out the purple in MJ.

i think you will get some nice big plants if u veg another 4 weeks under your 600hps. (strain and pot size depending) mine are in 18l pots.

they will grow fine ,your plants are about the size of mine when i put them under my 600hps i give them about 2 weeks on 18/6 then change to 12/12, i would put your light hight to start and slowly lower the light giving your plants time to adjust after a few days put your fan on running through...

you could always take a cutting or 2 when mostly clear,some more cuttings when mostly cloudy and then finish when mostly amber,dry them all out and see what you think is the best! or does that sound to easy?
