I am an avid overthinker. I just hate the guesswork with soil. Also, my living situations aren't the best for soil, I don't have room for bags and being able to mix stuff up. this is why I'm leaning towards DWC, I have smaller area, and really want the full controllability. Also, I kind of want...
I looked at the vipars and even though they might be great lights, I still can't see spending that much for just 100W actual draw when these panels are pulling 250. I have seen a few blackstar 240W's going on craigslist recently for around $200 a piece but I would feel like I'd have to get 2...
So just to finish this grow up, I have harvested the plant. It ended up being around 7 weeks because the soil pH and everything else just got way out of control. I ended up doing a partial topping of the biggest top colas and got around 3.5 grams a week before I took the rest of the plant...
So.. been searching and reading journals all around the web for a while now on LED grows. I know I want and need LED's for lots of reasons, just been hard trying to decide which panel I'm ultimately gonna start with and hopefully not have to upgrade or replace for a long time. My space is going...
I don't think it's fake. These birds have been known to take down some big prey and I used to live where there were many large predatory birds and they can get fucking massive. Our old place we used to have a pair of golden eagles and a huge bald eagle that always hung around our property and I...
I know I am not overwatering, and if I was at the time of pictures, it's because I was doing a lot of flushing/reading runoff. I also only used distilled water for the one-time flushing because I was reading such high pH runoff. I also have general hydroponics calibration fluid for the pH meter...
I think they're too far. My buddy has a big LED setup and he runs his lights fairly close on some plants. He even had a cabinet that was maybe 30" max height and grew a decent sized sour grapes under a 90W UFO. Maybe test out some closer than others if you're weary of hurting the plants with too...
Looks like a deficiency or lock-out problem. I would check the pH runoff and go from there. If pH is OK, I would start looking into magnesium deficiency as the first pic seems to look pretty similar to lacking magnesium, but could be caused by incorrect pH... so pH first, then worry about nutes...
Number #2 for the smoothest hits. it has the most coverage area on the percs and adding an ashcatcher can make things easier. I prefer bongs without carbs so you just pull what you're smoking from the bong to clear it.
The grass smell is from weed that hasn't been properly cured and may require more time in a jar to bring the stank out. Also, I don't believe this should be posted in plant problems.
I'm super thankful for the existence of cannabis. Life in my perspective would be a living hell without it. Other than that everything else sucks in this world.... Unless I'm stoned off my ass
Ok, time for an update. I have some questions for anybody to help with labeled in red, PLEASE!!! I watered her about 3 days ago and measured runoff for the first time. the pH was at 6.7 going in (spring water using GO camg+ for pH) and came out at 7.4. this worried me so I gave her another...
That's what I'm thinking, and I might just go get some myself if it's that cheap. I don't think one could really go wrong with it. And I hear ya dude, you have the drive to get it sorted out, so I think she'll be just fine.
I know this is in hydro, but there's a ton of good info in this thread over on grasscity where I occasionally dabble. if this link needs to be removed somebody please tell me or moderators step in...
