Someone suggested it may be a form a fertilizer? Something like Osmocote? Also another person suggested it was perlite with maybe some mold around it? Personally I think it could be either or mainly because I don't have any bug infestations.
I checked my other pots and they all have some of...
FFOF in 24 oz cups. mostly at the top 1/3 of the soil but there are some lower. Maybe it could be
with some mold around it. I will have to look that up.
I would't cut the leaves. The black spots are necrosis which means a dead spot on the leaves. There is nothing wrong with the rest of the leaf. The fan leaves are like your liver. If you cut all the fan leaves then the next splace to get spots will be the sugar leaves.
What kind of soil are...
It is most likely a nutrient problem. Potentialy related to a PH problem. It also looks like your leaves are pointing down, curling? Could be over watering? Also could be over use of ferts and low PH. Let it dry out a little then flush with plain water until your runoff water is 7 ish PH...
:) If you rub them they break. I did think about trying to see what hatches and I may eventually find out... I just checked my ICE that are almost 4 weeks from seed and they have a few of these white sacks also. Time may tell...
Found after harvest and I was cleaning the pots. I didn't have any pest problems during this grow.
FFOF soil, 24 oz. cups as pots, harvested at 56 days of flower. Maybe one chewed leaf out of 5 plants. But every plant had these in the soil.
Anyone ever seen this before? Anyone know what it is?
I recently found these clusters of white egg sacks, connected with a fuzzy something like mold? They look like spider sacks. I noticed them when I was cleaning my pots out and getting rid of the soil.
The only insects I ever notice are some flies... which could be adult flies from "cutworms"...
Looks great. Do you look at trichomes for harvest? I use a 30x jewelers Eye Loupe and harvest at 25% to 50% amber trichomes. But I only micro grow so my plants are a lot smaller so less plant to look at :)
Nice job!
I use a Jeweler's Loupe - 30X to see the trichomes. I harvest around 25% to 50% amber trichomes. At this point you will also have cloudy and some clear trichomes. My Northern lights finish in 7 to 8 weeks. Snow White is more like 8 to 9 weeks flowering.
Those buds have really filled out nicely.
What do you think of your "FIM" vs. the non fim plant? Do you think it is going to make much differnce in yield? I know its a bit early because you haven't harvested. I was just curious because I am about to "TOP" or "FIM" mine and would appriciate any...
Well it was my first grow in a 3 foot tall area and I used 6 inch tall pop bottles to grow in. So basically i have about 2 to 2.5 feet high of grow space. 2 females total. One from 10 seeds I pulled out of the floor mats of my wifes car and one female from a dime bag of my wifes. I don't smoke...
