Worst root rot problem in history

Yes, it is a medical grow. Just went through some major stuff with Hepatitis C, still dealing with some hardcore side effects from the treatment. Energy has come back though. I did it the way you suggest back in the mid 80s for several years. After that I grew exclusively outside for...

Worst root rot problem in history

I'm on the second batch of tea now. First batch still smelled earthy at 6 days, so all went well. Roots went berzerk on the tea. They went from this: To this: in one week. Two feet long now. :) Apparently, the tea has worked.

I give them nutes as soon as I see roots. Half strength until they begin branching, then full strength. Once they begin branching, they are adults.

Best type of medium to start clones in for Clay pellets

Rockwool works well, but use the smallest cubes you can find. Rapid rooters work well too. Do NOT use jiffy pots, the flat round little discs that you add water to expand them out. They suck eggs. Rooting in an aero cloner is best.

Worst root rot problem in history

Today when I added a measuring cup of tea, I noticed some black chunkage floating around in it. The tea is still foaming, but slightly less than the last few days. The tea is about 6 days old. What to make of this black gunk, just small bits of it. It was not there yesterday. My suspicion...

does h202 in fact kill all your benifical microbobes???

So when using beneficials, you do not clean out the system weekly? I need to at least flush my drain lines. I normally force pressurized water through them. I would put a garden hose up to them and high pressure them out with municipal water (which is chlorinated). Guess I could get a higher...

    Root proofing

Hey, has anyone ever used the fiberglass screen door material for lining tubs? It's super cheap. $6 for a 7x3 foot roll. My roots are hanging down to the bottom of my aero totes and I dont want to plug the drain holes. Thanks.

    Molasses & hydroponic use

Molasses is pointless by itself. It is not used by the plants directly. The only use it has is to feed microbes.

My hoses and airlines are getting slimy. What causes this? I am just putting the tea strait into the reservoir. Guess I should get some panty hose and strain it first. The slime has an earthy odor.
