    HELP!!! DO I HAVE HERMIES??

This^ Those are your preflower calyxes. They are the oldest calyxes on the plant, so they will naturally usually be the largest. I pick em off and add em to the sugar leaf hash pile at harvest time (depending how large your grow).

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Yes, this was my problem. I set up a scrubber about 3.5 weeks ago connected to a six inch fan. Put that above my cool tubes. Now I'm maxing out at 79 on my highest node on a warmer day, and 65-75 below the canopy. Lights are dropped to about 1.5 feet above the canopy. Can get a little cold...

    Reading a water report..

Thanks for the reply! I'm only worried about my microbes being killed off. Cannabis doesn't seem to mind a bit of chlorine, but I didn't want to kill my microbes. That being said; you are 100% correct. I couldn't smell a damn hint of chlorine after about 24 hours. It smells like a swimming pool...

    broken stem, what to do

duct tape or tape if it was done recently. However, that may have an embolism in it. Any open wound like that (like a person) can also be a pathway for pathogens to enter your plant more easily. You may want to remove it with sterilized scissors if it keeps turning funky colors. Looks like...

    Water quality reports and chlorine

I did a search, and couldn't really find what I was looking for. I was wondering if any of you physics/chemistry/botany experts could tell me approximately how long at room temperature, 14 gallons of 60ppm tap water, containing maximum 4ppm of chlorine (not chloramine according to my water...

    Clone Recovery

Also, It is highly unlikely your root ball has filled out the cup, unless the plant's leaves are wider than the cup. I have grown (although highly root bound and I wouldn't recommend it) 18 inch tall plants in solo cups. I would think if you try to transplant at this point, without seeing some...

    Clone Recovery

With coco and clones/seedlings, you need about twice the amount of perlite you would use in a fully grown pot to prevent overwatering/root rot (in my opinion, not fact), as well as minimum of 5 small 3/16 or so holes in the bottom and bottom sides of your cup. 400 ppm is slightly high to start...

    Reading a water report..

I know this post is slightly old, but I was wondering if any of you physics/chemistry experts could tell me how long at room temperature, 14 gallons of 60ppm tap water, containing maximum 4ppm of chlorine (not chloramine according to my water report) would take to evaporate? It's sitting in a 25...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Nice looking set up. Very interesting how you incorporated your exhaust and carbon filter. I may have to set up an intake from the outside eventually. Hopefully not. And I'm in love with these cool tubes so far. Temperatures are around 83 on day 1 of flower at the highest branch. I'm going to...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Dude. You are the effing shit!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS INFO!!! You seriously saved me so much freaking time and hassle. I just ordered another 6 inch fan last night so I can start scrubbing soon!!!! Hilarious, my intake vent is angled down at a 45 degree so I don't ravage my plants with fast...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Thanks man. I ended up trading the 6 inch blockbusters for two 6 inch cool-tubes. So far, this is the only way my temperatures are even somewhat manageable. This carbon filter is KILLING CFM. I took off the prefilter since I have a dustshroom for an intake anyhow. I'm steady at about 83 at the...

ww day 9 of flowering how she looking?

She has two phenotypes that produce a massive amount of flower and resin/sugar leaves. The third phenotype i've seen is very hashy, just doesn't yield quite as much, but still a decent yielder for sure. Keep up the good work man! I'll run MK again sometime. Nirvana has great shit dude.

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

I was contemplating caulking my hoods, but was a little worried with the temperatures and it possibly melting the caulk. I'm guessing there are heat-tolerant forms of caulk at your local Home Depot though? Any particular brand you might recommend?
