Sealed room setup, AC and CO2 questions

adz, First off, 2400W total lighting is a bit on the low end for 80 SF. That's only 30 watts per SF. As for A/C, a window unit will be fine. Just make sure you've got a big enough one. For four 600W lights, you'll probably need at least 10,000BTU. There are split units that are pre-charged and...

OMMP Meds Thru Craigslist? Are these legit?

I'm a recent transplant from the east coast, and just applied for my OMMP card. Someone told me I can find meds on the Portland Craigslist until my first crop comes in. I thought they were kidding, but I checked and there are dozens of ads. Are these legit, or are they ripoffs? Anyone have any...

    wtf is this?

I don't know what it is, but I've had that happen before. The good new is that it didn't effect the health of the plants or the quality of the smoke.

On the market for a grow house: any advice?

Personally, I'd only rent if the landlord was aware of my activities. That probably means providing the landlord with his legitimate rent, and an additional under the table (off the books) cash supplement. Don't even consider renting and trying to keep the landlord in the dark. The landlord has...

What do I look for in a new grower

Since the changes in the rules made it difficult financially for many people to change growers, here's a possible solution - have the grower pay for the change, and the patient can reimburse him by paying a small amount extra per month, or per ounce, until it's repaid. Since the grower can...

    Reverse osmosis systems

Don't worry about living in an apt and not having a hose connector. I had a small RO unit I bought at home depot. They also had the attachments I needed so I could hook it up to my kitchen sink (for under $10). They're the kind of adapters you can use to hook up a washing machine to a sink. Just...

    SCROG or SOG?

Well, you said you have limited height, what about width and depth? If you don't have much horizontal space, then I agree with itzCESAR - it would be a waste to do Scrog. If you've got lots of horizontal space, then I think Scrog would work better.

Enter The Scrog/Scroggers United Post Page

I'm interested to know what people are yielding per square foot. I'm just starting to grow indoors in Oregon, where I can legally grow 6 plants. One friend grows his indoor plants big - about 5 feet tall. But I think under HPS lights, the bottoms of those plants are so far away from the light...

    LBH's 4 way lst tutorial (w topping sub-tutorial)

Thanks. Great info. I've tried SCroG before (many years ago) and was doing a little research because I want to try it again. I'm glad I found this thread. In the past, I just grew the plant up to the screen and spread it. I never thought about training her like this before she got to the screen...

Most common and easy fix to massively increase yield. Plus dispell a myth

I don't see how anyone can argue that a 1000HPS should be within 6" of a plant. Try it. Your plant will be fried within a couple of hours. Just hold your hand under it for a couple minutes (if you can). Yeah, there's more lumens, and more photons, but your plant can't utilize them when it's...
