The grow store down the street from me sells 1000w HPS/MH set up for $159. 1000w ballast, econ wing, and HPS bulb. Maybe call around to grow stores and let them know your looking for a light and would like to know if they have any package deals.

I didn't want to bury them more because of the chance of rot on the new stem. It may not make any difference. Using a stick (or some old wire like I do) will not hurt the root system at all.

I've had seeds do that and fall over. They were still sprouts and about 5" or so tall. I just tide them to a stick and all worked out well.
