can plants share rootspace? ie I have a 70 gallon plastic tote with five plants in it. Will the plants co exist or do they need their rooting sections separated?

when you say cut off the top. Do you mean cut off the top 2/3 of of the plant? i.e.. 6 feet cut down to 2 feet. Or just trim a bit off the top and leave the buds on the bottom third. So, are you essentially re entering the vegetative stage of growth? How long do you stay in veg?

I was wondering about how the plant reacts to harvesting. Does it die? Does it require a recovery period? Return to a vegetative light cycle? How long until it sttarts growing buds again? Any input will be appreciated.
