I would take clones for sex & (or) future harvests. Even though the sex won't be determined until a future date anyway, you can at least start a perpetual harvest now to get future harvest out of your possible future girls. My .02 :D

I'm using 3" netpots with neoprene inserts myself. The roots grow right through the bottoms & I haven't found a need to remove the bottoms of the neoprene. The plants will keep growing no matter what is in their way. :D
