Hydro Organics High Brix Mollasses is the chit--1tbs per gallon every other watering through flowering, even flush with it still in there at the end...feeds the microbes in the soil, makes 'em bery bery dense 'n heavy...oh, and sweeeeet!!
That's very cool! I've seen that before years ago on a Mexican strain that had been previously treated with colchicine to make the normally diploid chromosones be polyploid, theoretically to increase the potency..it also made some of the leaf/bud combination half green, half white...trippy...
Saint Frank will live on as one of the best...love what Dweezil's doin' with Zappa plays Zappa--they're on the west coast right now, New Years' in SF then north, Vancouver on Jan 6th...then back south...if you're nearby and a fan, definitely worth checking out.
I like what miker said--get a backhoe and dig a really big hole...then fill it up with mucho peat moss, throw in a couple bags of stutzman chicken shit, some bone meal, greensand and 3 or 4 drippers and let 'er grow...to me the best plants outdoor have always been from seed--clones tend to turn...
Here's a really simple way to look at it--with 120v you have ONE hot and a neutral--with 240v you have TWO hots--since Volts x Amps = Watts, no matter what...if you have a 1000Watt fixture running at 120V, ONE hot will carry 8.34amps...if you run it at 240V, TWO hots, they will each be 4.17amps...
This works--put a buncha budlets in a jar, fill it up with blue-label 100 proof smirnoff, let it sit for a month, viola! Tincture for sippin' and tincture for putting on sore muscles, joints, whatever, works great!
This has worked--putting ice cubes on the dirt right below the plant...it also gives a slow water release which is nice...thought about using dry ice but it's kinda pricey. The AC unit helps too but doesn't really bring it down that much.
Hey Bruce, surf's up dude! I've tried a few different ones, volcano, box and whip, vapir...the best I've found is this one...cool, moist vapor, no plastic, all glass, spendy but works most excellently but I like fdd's method for cheap and simple.
There's a good comparison of vaporizers here, but I do like this simpo method fdd came up with--ingenious yet basic! Next thing is to try to compress vapor so it could be stored for future use in something less visible than the balloons...
