The rack that I used on the papaya was about three inches above the pot. None of the back branches got to tall. A few of them did get pretty close tho. On this grow I am planning on topping all of the bottom shoots when they first come through the rack. STAY HIGH!!! p.s. You can always do some super cropping to re angle some of your tops that way they arent so close to your bulbs.
Hey thanks for the fast reply i actually have about a space maybe 6-8in wide that goes 26in high so i have my lights at 17in and have about 6in to raise them if need be. im starting a thread so you can get a better idea. had to build in the dvd portion to blend it in more. Couple questions tho how high did you hang your rack above your first papaya grow and once you had tied it completely down how did you deal with the height of the branches coming of the main. i only noticed 1 piece of wire and some ribbon on a couple branches did they not grow into your lights, sorry I have never used a scrog before. Heres a link to what i got http://www.rollitup.org/general-mari...ml#post6568789
How many plants are you planning on growing in your area. I would prolly recommend to grow 2 plant with the biggest pots you can fit. Then I would start to do a scrog. The reason I would do two is because you would be able to get away with a short veg time and still will be able to fill the scrog net. As for lights I would try to get something low profile like a t5 or something like that. That way if they ever get to tall your lights aren't taking up 8in of usable space. Hope this helps you. STAY HIGH!!!
hey man bout to start a grow in a box that is 27in wide 17in deep 17in high. I just lurk around the forums but your pc grows are similar dimensions. was originally go 2 weeks veg then flower from seed but checkin out your grow im reconsidering. been reading your threads would love to get some insight on what you would recommended for that space.
