I couldn't find fox farms locally so I was using organic miracle grow which didn't have any time release nutes. The consistency wasn't very good so I added some perlite and another potting soil but it still turned out to be less than ideal. One of the seeds I started in there the other day was...
Sadly Yes, I don't really know what it was that made it so small. My guess is the soil was not quite right.
I am starting another one in a different kind of soil and it is a different strain as well. I also have three I am starting for a few weeks in the PC case and then going to transfer...
Mine started out really slow and didn't grow incredibly big even for an easy ryder but I am a first timer here. If it is bag seed I am not sure it would be good to compare growth speed because it is probably a different strain. Here are some updated pics though.
The carbon filter is just...
It might not be the healthiest plant but at least I didn't kill it. It doesn't bother me too much though as I am sure with experience I will do better. I planted a BlimBurn Super Automatic fem in another pot next to the Easy Ryder so when it finishes there will be another one to tend to. I used...
Growing a little bigger every day. No problems or complications so everything is going well. Since I think it is getting about that time as you can see from the pic I switched one of the lights so now there is more light in the red spectrum than blue. I still have one blue light to keep it...
Well I didn't start feeding her very much at all. It was not even quite 1/4 strength when I did the first feeding and then after two watering feed the same again. I actually stopped after that because I could see some discoloration on the edges of the leafs so she actually got very little nutes...
OK so here is a new pic.
Things are not really going so well. As you can see it is still very small. At this point I am losing hope but will let it run it's coarse though to see what happens. I know it is a learning thing but was really hoping my first grow would do better than it has been so...
I started using nutes at around 1/4 strength. I was planning to wait until around the second week but it started looking like it needed them. The day after the first feeding the droopy leaves straightened out and it is doing well so far. I have fed it nutes twice and do two waterings between...
For odor I will be using a plug in air odor filter on the inside of the PC case. I have a larger air filter that also plugs in to remove odor from the room if need be. Both of those use carbon filters. I also have a block of odor absorbing gel and there is a carbon filter on the exhaust fan too...
Anyone feel free to comment/post suggestions and if anyone knows why the last two pictures posted as a link instead of a thumbnail I would like to know why.
