i tried the hand test and its cool but the leaves of my plants are clawed and one plant looks dryed up a little 400w metal halide right now its about 19 inches away running DWC

i agree the fans you linked would be much better then pc fans but the poster didnt ask what can i buy to move air he asked if pc fans would work to vent his light and i believe that if he keeps the ballast out of the room it will with no problem 150 hps doesnt build alot of heat a good pc fan...

i use 2 120mm pc fans in a closet 30" x 23" x 5' with a 400 watt mh and the room stays 75° f but i do have my ballast outside the closet

what would be the difference in pHing twice when i could just do it once after the nutes and 5.2 is what is recommended in the FAQ as max nutrient absorption but the point being i cant maintain anything under about 7.5 to 8 it always rebounds and budless for my soil plant i dont pH the water...

pure cranberry juice and lots of water has worked for me many times even worked on a random test where i had to test 24 hours after smoking

i use collidal silver from the supplement store costs like 5 bucks soak the seeds in it for 24 hours then germinate as normal im 4 for 4 so far might be a quinkedink but so far so good

finally got the ballast wired up and i can confirm MH works well with the MV ballast only trouble was sylvania blubs dont work with it but phillips worked great now i got a nice little 400 watt MH for 40 bucks total

my tap water has a base ppm of 78
