I used to fight with Creationists in the comments of science videos on youtube.
I've got a spare that I haven't put to use that was specifically for any videos I felt inspired to make about some of the stuff we've been arguing. But Pat Condell, Thunderf00t, ZOMGitsCriss, NonStampCollector, and company do such a fine job
I do have a legit copy of Sony Vegas though So I can edit together stuff as needed.

I enjoy your posts too. Between us, Jax, and Stoney, we've got the rationality dream team going.

Everything I wrote was heartfelt. It takes courage to objectively examine one's own positions. And confidence to adjust any position when presented with valid points.

All too often our own positions on any number of issues are boxed in by the perceptions of others. Moreso in online forums. In rebuttal some see nothing but opposition when the opposite is often true.

I dislike the Politics section because of the polemic nature of many of the participants. An insult is often answered with another until any common ground is shrouded by the rancor.

I do enjoy the Politics section because it exposes one to opinions one would not otherwise see or hear. Most find comfort in their own environments, especially when the subject is politics or religion. The person most able to recognize valid points, and faulty points, in every camp is perceived as at outsider. Not worthy of respect or credence because he is not in total agreement.
