@samljer..thanks a lot fot the informative post..m planning a 10square feet cabinet..i only have 1 metal halide thats 250W so i am planning to supplement my plants with T5 tubes...the info u posted will be very helpful for me n m sure with other growers :)

i have a small space too and my metal halide is quite big for it n m sure it will fry the plants..m thinking of getting T5 in there but i seriously hope it does not affect the yield..m i got about 2ft x 2ft space and height is about 2ft also... i really have to get a lot of research done into...
