    Grow Tent Questions

The Sunhut XL (silver) has welded steel corners, heavy duty zippers with NO light leaks around them, comes with 2 - 6" flanges, & yes it has a few pin-hole light leaks around the stitching that i fixed with a small paint brush & some black gasket sealer - NBD. I've got no real complaints & like...

    Lighting and ducting helpppp!!!!

You could convert the light fixture to a recepticle box & plug into that depending on how much other stuff is on that line. Or just run a new dedicated 20anp line from your fuse-box & put the electricity where you need it.

These Fans Are The Real Deal !!

skm - The DIY muffler i made was based on the fact that most 6" commercial mufflers were 24" & i had some 36" x 1/2" welded hardware cloth from HD that i used instead. Figured that longer was better. I just made a 6" roll of it & inserted it into a piece of 8" galvanized duct that i cut to fit...

    Grow Tent Questions

And whats up with the DR120 inside measurments? 3'11" ? I just ordered the SunHut XL (a little over 4'x4'x6.5') over any of the Jardens for a bunch of reasons. Steel poles, heavy canvas w/silver lining, big zippers, 2 included 6" exhaust flanges (over the awkard sock set-up) & it cost me $200...

    400watt hps vs 4' 8 bulb t-5's

T5's put out the same amount of heat as HID, just spread out a bit more - you still need the same venting & odor control you would use with an HPS/HM system. A 4' 8 bulb T5 will rock for flowering - check out some of the T5 grows on ICMag. A 4' 8 bulb fixture will be around $300+ so they are...

    Want to use mylar

Flat white paint is way better, easier, cheaper & doesn't make noise like mylar does when you blow a fan on it. Forget mylar - a complete pita to install & hard to clean when you need to disinfect if you get the Borg.

t-5 gifted too me have a question

T5's can be used for the entire grow - lotsa people flower with them & produce great buds. 4100K is a bit warm so I'd get some 6500K bulbs to keep the stretching down. I always use 3 blue (6500K) & 1 red (3000K) during veg & the opposite for flower. I have a 2' 4 bulb T5 right next to my 400W...

Who say's you can't clone during flowering? (w/pics)

I've done this successfully for the last 2 grows. It did take a month to root the baby flowers so it's easy to lose some of them to root rot, but they developed lots of side branches & turned into some beautiful micro bushes. Expect some goofy lookin' growth growth at the beginning, but be...

My Home Depot has clearance sale on security lights

Well, first, they weren't that expensive (2 for $72 inc ship), but my dream light is a 400w CMH in a SS Supersun2 hood. Growing in a triangular space forces all the heat up to the top of the room really fast, so the exhaust/temp situation has got to figure into the purchase of any HID light...
