  • I got some good growth and the penetration wasn't terrible for about a foot, but I didn't do much bottoming or defoliation on the batches I've done so far. I need to do more grows to dial it in but I feel like supplemental lighting or additional PAR might be key to better yield. Plants stayed very healthy tho
Hey Obvi, my apologies for the delayed response.
My early results were lower weight harvests, but my plants had many different stresses. It was an unsealed garden with humidity and ventilation issues. How has your progress been? Did you get some LEDs up?
so after all your months of looking into LED lights, and cob builds your going to settle for HPS 600 watt?

makes the decision hard to make, for now I am going to grow a single plant under my mars 300 and see how it goes, then I will have real world personal results . to help sway what direction i go in next, I was thinking about hanging 2 of these cxa 3070 cobs off the ends of my mars 300 and increase my watts to 270 total actaul watts used, mars doesnt list the lumens of thier lights only the watts used,

    obviously
why don;t you just go with one cxa3590 ? I'm trying to find a good driver for this one now and led holder. in UK.

well I have already purchased and modified my mars 300 led, so it is the light I am going with for the first grow, Will I ad a cob or build a cob after that grow, it depends on how good or bad the mars led works for me, but I am commited to use the mars now that i have purchased it, so if anything I will supplament light with a cree cob if I feel I need more light after the grow is over
