What exactly does this do? What does it filter? What does it not filter? Chlorine Catcher VS. Reverse Osmosis?

Thanks, I really care about the quality of my water, and it seems as RO is the best way to go, but I just don't think it will pay off for 4-5 plants....I read that distilled can still leave some impurities....Last grow i used gallons from the store, it was a HUGE hassle and i'm not going through...

What's the best water purification method for about 4-5 soil plants?

So i've been comparing the ZeroWater filter http://www.amazon.com/ZeroWater-ZD-013-Filtration-Electronic-Included/dp/B001CUMLOK/ref=sr_1_1?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285769089&sr=8-1 to Reverse Osmosis for awhile. I can't figure out which to get. As of now, my grow consists of 4 plants, but...

I've been using a 400W HPS from HTG supply for a few weeks now, must say im very satisfied, i just kept a few fans blowing around to prevent any heat from the reflector affecting anything. It's just a slight buzz from the ballast.

Thanks doc! For my last grow, with 3 fairly large plants, i peaked at 1 gallon a day for all plants during the hot summer days, so it could suffice. But i'm willing to do whatever is best. I want to avoid going to stores, it's really inconvenient. Peace.

Is Flouride bad for plants? What are the negatives? How can flouride be removed? Any input is appreciated, +rep

Well, it's wonderful water to drink, it's city water, but i'm not sure how plants like flouride and some of the other additives? I don't need to go extra cheap - i want quality - i just don't know if the extra like 175-200 for a good RO filter is worth it - besides pH, what are the effects on...

I'm looking for HPS to MH. As far as i can tell, that is the other way around.

Last grow (and first) I thought i would be okay using gallons poland spring spring water.....got really expensive, and annoying to keep bringing back, but i saw it through to the end. Tap water here is no good, what's my best option? I'm keeping reverse osmosis filters in mind, but they're kinda...
