It’s gotten too dry and the edges are peeling away from the fabric pot. So when you water it all rushes doen the side, won’t give h an accurate soil measurement and not hydrating the soil properly.
Next time when u pot up compress slightly the edges about an inch in from the edge to stop this...
Goats cheese and herb stuffed chicken wrapped in prosciutto. Chive tats and garlic sautéed asparagus.
For the goats cheese filling;
couple small sprigs of rosemary, tyme and 2 sage leaves. Put in pestle and mortar with unground sea salt and mash into paste. Add 1 small garlic glove and mash...
Thanks man! Done a fair more since this grow :)
I use the apera ph60s. Quite pricy at the moment but if you want an accurate measurement that’s your best bet.
The analog ones, like the 3 in 1 metres? They are ok for measuring the soil moisture but that’s it! pH is useless on them I found
Also when you pot up pre-moisten the soil with 10% volume of water prior to planting. I spread mine out and mixed it up evenly.
At the start you can let them soak the run off up but only if it’s a light potting mix. I do this until I’m feeding more nutrients. At the start it’s simply a root...
Definitely! pH does cause a lot of ‘issues’ people try to resolve with added food but make it worse.
But a magnesium deficiency has interveinal chlorosis that progresses. Not appearing within a day or so. That light green tissue on the leaf margins is dead on his plant and is probably crispy...
pH in organics is less important but still can be an issue if extremely acidic/alkaline.
Yea it’s nothing to worry about, just got a tad dry.
When you pot up in fabric pots gently push an inch around the edges as you fill. This will stop any gaps appearing and drying out too fast.

Could be from pH swings if you are getting it other than soil? Interesting stuff. I thought it was just moisture but make sense being pH related as the pH does swing when peat dries.
It affects the youngest leaves first. The leaf margins wilt and die very fast, damage happens in 12hrs in my...
That ain’t magnesium lol
It’s from lack of water at one time leading to the plant tissues dying. It’ll soon turn very crispy if not already and happens in 24hrs.
I had it happen 3 days ago and many times before when a drought occurred.

Where you finger goes down to is not where...
That dead green light tissue is from water stress!! Drought to be exact. I’ve had it many a time when the plant out drinks its container.
Best to water every 2-3 days with a certain amount than wait too long. It can also be due to not enough water when watered.
Also it’s more prone in fabric...
Looks nice and healthy good job!
Hasn’t even begun to mature. Hairs will go orange/red until all white hairs mostly disappear. It’ll then swell the last week or so.
A big sign it’s nearing the end is it’ll stop drinking nearly as much.
Another 4-6 weeks and you’ll be looking to harvest.
