what does this promote, or why is this beneficial? I just want a understanding of why, my understanding is I could veg for 4 weeks in 1 gals and switch them to 5 gals starting flower? or do I need to use 1 gals for 2 weeks then switch to 5 gals for rest of life time?

Does anyone know if this is beneficial or even worth the soil, I start with 2 weeks in 1 gal , 2 weeks in 3 gal ,and 5 gal into 12/12 . Is it worth it to up the pot size or should I just keep it simple and drop them in 5 gals from start to finish?

That schedule will work, personally they just look over watered to me. I wouldn't water till the soils damp, I would water them by ML/cups so you can keep better track of intakes, they shouldn't really need much water. My current grow is 4ft tall plants in 5 gals and I only give them 2 cups of...

I agree with GMZ, in my opinion if this was at 16 days I'd scrap it and start over. It looks to me like these plants got too much attention , keep in mind less is more with these plants... I keep my room temps at 75 - 85 D/N and humidity I don't personally worry about. I water every other day...

I recently switched over to flower with a 600w HPS and the lights increasing my temps too much! Putting my hand over it even at foot away is still uncomfortable, it takes my temps from 71 - 73 at night to 90-97 at day .... which is horrible! my veg temps were 71-73 / 80-82 ! I have one fan...
