The answer to your question is yes you can flower with a 5500k but I don't think that's recommended. I know some 5500k bulbs are considered full spectrum but they still lean more towards a blue light.
So will it work? Yes it will
Should you do it? It's up to you but you would get better...
2'x2' 8 bulb T5, vegged all 8 bulbs with 6500k, flowered 4x6500k and 4x3000k also had 2 other plants growing with that are not done yet. I have 6 other hanging cfl's 3x2700k 68watt and 3x2700k 27watt. and a 250watt 2700k cfl blasting from the side.

Well according to DP the harvest time is between 50-60 days, I was a little worried I was to early but all the trics. were all cloudy and it seemed about 25% of them were amber. So I hope I wasn't to early.
Well tonight was the night for my 1 blueberry plant to come down, day 57 of flowering. The best buds came in at 10.8oz right off the plant and another 2.9 oz of popcorn buds and scrap. What do you guys think my dry yield will equal?
3 feet, but I am using a laptop yeah it is a little blurry, I need to screw with it more settings wise to maybe get some better pictures. I think alot of the issue is it works but you only get so much for 45 bucks. Time will tell.
OK guys, I got the USB scope in and I snapped a couple pics of my blueberry that now looks as if its about a week away? just screwing around it takes a little practice but here they are check them out
