    New light.

Its not much of a profit, thats for sure, but I'm not looking to make a ton of money, just a little bit while doing something I enjoy.

LOL - don't I wish! Definitely not gonna get rich doing this.

Major increase in kwh possibly caused by smart meter?

He had a few good ideas, in particular the brushless AC motor (probably his best), but the vast majority of his ideas were either useless (like the tesla coil) unworkable (wireless power transmission) or just downright nutty. Read his essay titled "Automata"....

Samsung LED strip build having concerns. Wattage dropping

Won't make any difference, TBH. The strips are not chained together, so there is not likely to be much voltage drop from one end to the other. Solder pad are easy to get to, and won't risk damaging the connector by shoving a probe into it.

Samsung LED strip build having concerns. Wattage dropping

Use the solder pads that are at the very end of the strip near the label Its capable of more, just not with the load it has. 18-20 strips would probably pull the full potential of 480 watts from it.

    Sun boards or quantum boards?

If you know the spec, sure why not include it?

Samsung LED strip build having concerns. Wattage dropping

This is a combination of voltage drop over wires that are too small, and limited voltage output from the driver. I get ~1 amp per strip at 23.9 volts, so 24.0 (the driver limit) is not going to get you very much more. You are voltage limited to about 1.1 amp per strip, no matter what you do. If...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Brownouts often coincide with surges right before or after, so yeah a surge protector can help protect your stuff. Mean Well HLG drivers have automatic input voltage compensation so a mild brownout will generally not affect them. They will keep right on chugging as long as the voltage stays...

    Samsung HinFlux led strip.

I dunno, possibly. It wouldn't surprise me.

    Blurple Cobs?? Anyone?

Pass. Doesn't even seem all that efficient at ~1.7 uMol/J, unless I'm calculating it wrong.

    The New Majestic12 LED

Like it or not, you ARE representing the company by posting this thread for a light you did not purchase. And for free no less, since you have to return it. Well, quite frankly, no it isn't. Yes, and thats the whole point. "Any damn light" of sufficient intensity will get good responses from...

    Done with mirrors

LOL - I was just gonna suggest you look into dielectric mirrors.
