Yea, I have 4 xgs190's. It sucks, I'll never be able to buy replacement parts. Oh well, when diodes start going out, I'll hack it, and throw some quantum boards or cobs in it.

I guess it's time to hit up growerslights.com, and get some HLG kits.

The hlg550 is a great light, I can't say enough about it. The hlg550v2 from growerslightsource.com is a whole other beast. Besides more samsung diodes, it has a much better heatsink, and the external potentiometer is really nice. If you want to grow with quantum boards, hit up...

The boards simply screw in to the heatsink, they're not riveted in place. I've had 0 problems with my factory hlg550, I just think the build with the growers light source is the better option.

Don't buy from HLG, get a kit or one assembled from growerslightsource.com. They have a better heatsink, and they're easier to replace the boards when they go bad, plus they're cheaper!

I ran a 600W lumatek with super lumens (690W) for 10 years for personal use, I could pull close to 1 1/2lbs in a 4×4 area, I have a hlg550, and a hlg550v2, they produce better flowers, and will blow any hid out of the water, you just can't compare them! Less heat, less wattage, less problems...

I bought a hlg550, and I absolutely love the light. If I had to repurchase, I would definitely go with the hlg600. Lower price, higher wattage, and the kits can be put together by a toddler, they're almost completely fool proof, plenty of videos on YouTube walking you through it. I was using a...

H.L.G. has a 550 diy kit, it's the hlg600. The driver is slightyly more powerful than the 550, and it's cheaper. Ledgrowlightsdepot.com

I have the hlg550, it's a great light, but if I had to do it again, I would have picked up the hlg600. The kits are so easy to put together, it's really a no brainer IMO.
