dirty rocks will do that, i learned that the hard way. soak them for a day and rinse 50 times min. also, light reaching your tank. make some simple covers for your pots to cover the rocks, make sure your tank is dark colored or paint outside black. dont forget all your air hoses should be black...

Great info, but did I read 88 pages only to miss the ending? Did Roseman harvest and cure? Guess we will never know? Im going to get my own setup going, anyone know if any threads takes over where this one dead ended? Thanks
