Being driven at 65% is a good thing for efficiency and life,cheap Chinese lights are driven much harder to save on the number of diodes and fail faster and are less efficient.
My buddy's wife has Fibromyalgia really bad and I was looking at Pennywise to make some oil for her. Anyone have any info on this strain for such a use?
FranJan,I was able to remove the globe from the Cree without heat. It took surprisingly very little effort,just held it by the finned ring and twisted the globe. Got a $9 clamp light and painted it flat white.
I think I'll try this out since they have it at a store 3 miles from my house,plus they have the coconut powder.I don't need a lot since I will only have 12 plants max at any one time,flower,veg and clone.

I found some 5000k induction lamps really cheap ($.56 per watt ) and was considering buying some.I could add some supplemental 630nm and 660nm lights for flower if they needed it.
