Tweedledum:
I've learned many a thing, these last couple of months. First that I've done everything wrong in how I went about growing my first crop of cannabis. I started with the wrong soil, a mixture of Miracle Grow {a huge no-no in the marijuana forums} and peat moss with some perlite and sheep manure. The seeds I didn't germinate were bag-seed, just put them in the soil and waited. I gave the seedlings a shot of nutrients {again a MG product} about the 5th week of vegetation and watered
Or as others call her....Mother Nature, we had a little disagreement yesterday. I wanted a little bit of rain, she decided that it was best to give me a weeks worth in a day, that being said she also thought in her ultimate wisdom, that a little bit of wind might help speed things along. So after our screaming match {I the loser} went to assess the damage. Fan leaves torn away, cracked or broken branches, buds in ruins.
Ohhhh the humanity {sorry had to}...I spent the next couple of
Today I went out just on a whim to check on things and it seems that my over exuberance yesterday was ill timed. Though most of my plants are doing quite well in regards to being a 1st time grow. There is a snafu, after closer inspection I've found what appears to be a hermaphrodite, or somehow this one plant was pollinated {which seems odd to me}. Being quite new to growing I've run into the issue of do I... a) tear it down and say, lesson learned or... b) let it finish and harvest with the intent
I woke up amongst the backdrop of a very lucid dream in which I was harvesting my plants and because the scissors I used were dirty, they somehow turned my plants moldy.
So after thinking about it and referencing some items, I went to the local hardware store to purchase my "tools" of the trade as it were. Bought was a case of mason jars {12x1L w/snap lids}, 1 roll of twine {325ft}, 1 box of 7/8th" cup hooks, and Fiskars pruning shears with a pair of micro-tip blade scissors.
