    Still no cloudy trichs

Alright, thanks amigos! Gonna chop her down today :) That's what I'm beginning to think too! It's my 6-7th plant and I've never seen a plant fully covered in cloudy trichomes like on the pictures... Always nice, dense buds, recessed orange pistils, nice buzz, etc. But maybe I'm doing something...

    Still no cloudy trichs

Hey guys, I posted 2 weeks ago about having no cloudy trichs and I'm still at the same place. I can find 2-3 cloudy ones and a lot more amber, I would say I am at 80% clear, 5% cloudy and 15% amber. I would need some advice about when to harvest. Should I still wait?

    Trichomes not getting milky

Alright, I will try to be a bit more patient with this one! What are the signs you guys are looking for? The white pistils? Not enough swollen yet? Thanks again! Growing is so much fun with the help of you guys!!

    Trichomes not getting milky

Yeah I might have gone a bit over the top with the lights. I only have a 4ft high tent so I try to maximize space, sometimes the plant just grow too high... A few more weeks? That would be way past the recommended window! I once went 1.5 month after the recommended window and the trichs never...

    Trichomes not getting milky

Hey guys, I'm at my 6-7th grow and around harvest time, I always bump into the same problem : the trichomes don't get as cloudy as on the reference pictures... Sure, there are a few, but most are clear and some are amber. They seem to be cloudy when looked from upon, but when I look from the...

    Hard time determining ripeness

Here are some pictures. The strain is Charlotte's Angel from Dutch Passion. I think I got some foxtailing (I'vre read it might be too much light... I tried to push it a bit more this time, you learn every grow :) ) but what is your feeling about the ripeness? I also try to stray away from the...

    Hard time determining ripeness

So what you are saying is that I may have to grow after the "harvest window"? It is kind of tough as all the other indicators are there, just the trichomes are not cloudy enough... I'm on my mobile phone rn, I will post some pictures of what I mean a little later! Thanks for your answer :)

    Hard time determining ripeness

Yeah I think I got a 30x jewelers magnifying glass. Do you have any suggestions for a 100x magnifying camera?

    Hard time determining ripeness

Ah my bad, I wasn't clear enough :P I'm growing with 30-40w per ft2 and have a 2x2x4 tent, which means 4ft2. Total output from the QB is mostly 135w. I'm growing 1 plant in the tent. I don't really sweat it hehe, this is just the last thing I haven't completely figured out and I try to improve...

    Hard time determining ripeness

Hi guys, I'm at my 4th grow, 3rd strain, and I'm really having a hard time determining the ripeness of the buds based on the trichomes... I don't know if I'm doing something bad, but they never seem to turn as milky as on the guides/tutorials. The first 2 grows I even waited 3 weeks after the...

    Lost stickiness

Hey guys, It's the 2nd time I harvest and both times the buds lost their stickiness during week 9 or so. They are FULL of trichomes but it just feels powdery when handling them. The keif is intense. I also always have a problem with the trichome colors, they get a bit cloudy during week 7-8...

    Still a few days left?

Oh, that's good to know, thanks! I chopped them after 12 1/2 weeks (from 12/12). Let's say they began budding after 2 weeks (I didn't write it down, unfortunately), then I chooped them after 10 1/2 week. Breeder stated 8-9 weeks, so I still was 1 1/2 weeks late after begin of budding...

    Still a few days left?

Ha thanks! I finally waited 3 more weeks (chopped august 23) as the trichomes didn't want to turn more milky. After contacting the breeder, he told me that he counts the flowering weeks from the moment he switches to 12/12. So I was 3 weeks late but still no more milky or amber trichs. I hope my...
