Okay. After my foray into 12/12, which seemed to produce nothing but males (granted, I only had three sprouts going), I've switched back to 18/6 for what is technically grow #3. Still as ghetto as ever. I need more lights, but can't afford the bulbs or the ceramic fixture. D'oh.

Ha. Preferences are like assholes and opinions, everyone has their own! But yeah, witty quips aside, I think I'm biased towards pipes because I'm a tobacco pipe smoker, anyway. :)

Blunts and Js, they're enjoyable enough if with others. Chilling at home by myself, give me a pipe. One bowl, I'm decent for a while. Haha. Makes it last longer. Maybe? I dunno. Twenty minute slater, I'm refilling the bowl, so who knows for sure? LOL

Ha. I can relate. So far, all of mine have been dull. And the fan leaves kinda fuzzy-ish, for that matter.

So. Here's a curious little question. Why do some plants having a more waxy look than others? Strain? An Indica trait? A Sativa trait?

Well. That other seedling looks to be a growing male, too. Gonna give it a few more days just to be sure, though. Either way, I might be scrapping 12/12 and going back to 18/6 sooner than I thought. Ha.

Some people seem to swear by the little PC case fans wired to a AC adapter. How those are used in conjunction with a carbon filter is all up to one's ingenuity and imagination, really. Myself, in what limited growing I've done, I've just used a activated carbon 'closet odor' controller. You...

Yeah. From what I've read about it, 12/12 is good for keeping plants kinda small. So it's better suited to Sativa dominant strains, really. These sprouts I have left (including that male above) look way more Indica dominant. So. Yeah. That, plus my low wattage CFLs, and the small pots I'm using...

Well, I'm not really sure yet. I still have two more sproutlings growing. One that I started at the same time as that male, but it's kinda dragging behind a bit, in size. So I'm gonna keep going with them, and see what happens. If I end up with an eight inch female, growing out quarter or even...

No, no pollen collecting. Setup isn't big enough for anything as fancy as mixing strains (It's unknown bagseed anyway). So yeah. It got snipped, moreso than chopped. Tiny as it was. haha.
